Naseema Sparks is an experienced 'top-line growth' director with current and relevant expertise in a range of industries in particular organisations with strong and growing B2C offerings. Her expertise includes business strategy, marketing strategy, branding, consumer segmentation, data-driven marketing, media and digital communications platforms.
Naseema has current experience in transformational and disruptor businesses, especially those operating in the rapid growth, customer acquisition and brand awareness stage. She also has experience with businesses facing market and competitive pressures where significant operational transformation is required to restore a profitability and growth
She has been a professional non-executive director since 2005, serving on boards of a diverse range of companies including ASX listed and private companies, Government statutory authorities, not-for-profit arts, health and education boards. She is currently a director of Melbourne IT Ltd, Australian Vintage Ltd (McGuigan Wine Group), Genero.com, AIG Australia and Knight Frank Australia. She is a member of the NSW Council of AICD and a director of the Biennale of Sydney
She has previously been a director of Blackmores Ltd, PMP Ltd, Ingogo.com and Sydney Dance Company
Naseema's most recent executive career was as Managing Director of M&C Saatchi. She began her career as a product manager at Glaxo Australian and later marketing director at Sanofi, then moving into strategic consulting at Coopers & Lybrand
Naseema's qualifications include an MBA from Melbourne Business School and she is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is also a Past President of Chief Executive Women (2009 – 2011)
